Sharp unveils 32-inch IGZO 4K Professional Monitor
Sharp unveiled IGZO 32-inch IGZO 4K Professional Monitor priced around 450,000 yen or about $5,500 US. It is expected to debut during CES Jan-Feb 2013. IGZO stands for Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide. It is a LCD panel technology which acts as a superior substrate material to amorphous silicon due to higher electron mobility. It allows higher pixel density or faster response times. To display resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels it relies on DisplayPort, although HDMI is also available.

RAZR i MT788 arriving in China
Motorola's first Intel-powered handset is to be released in China in mid December. It has already made its debut in the US as Razr M and in Europe as Razr i. Named as ‘RAZR i MT788’ it is considered to have similarities in terms of appearance but will have few differences inside. No news on the exact release dates or price. It's foreign cousin is available for $99 on a two-year contract from Verizon in the US or free on a contract in the UK. Off-contract it can be purchased for $549.99 or around £340 in the UK.
